• 6th United States Colored Cavalry Regiment, October 24, 1864 - April 15, 1866
• 12th United States Colored Heavy Artillery Regiment, July 15, 1864 - April 24, 1866
• 13th United States Colored Heavy Artillery Regiment, June 23, 1864 - November 18, 1865
• 114th United States Colored Infantry Regiment, July 4, 1864 - April 2, 1867
• 116th United States Colored Infantry Regiment, June 6, 1864 - January 17, 1867
• 119th United States Colored Infantry Regiment, January 18, 1865 - April 27, 1866
• 124th United States Colored Infantry Regiment, January 1, 1865 - December 20, 1867

NOTE OF INTEREST:

Six Kentucky USCT infantry regiments (109th - Louisville, 114th - Camp Nelson, 115th - Bowling Green, 116th - Camp Nelson, 117th - Covington, and 122nd -  Louisville) participated in the Siege of Petersburg and Richmond, Virginia. The 109th, 114th, 116th and 117th participated in the Appomattox Court House Campaign and the surrender of General Robert E. Lee and his army.
