this impersonal response; however, we have limited resources at our
National Headquarters and cannot always respond in person to the huge
volume of request that we get.

the President of the chapter nearest to you. Call him/her and submit
your request.
2. INTERVIEWS: If you wish to interview a Tuskegee Airmen, please

the President of the chapter nearest to you. Discuss your project with
the President so he/she can help in selecting the appropriate candidate
of interview.
3. RESEARCH PAPERS: If you are preparing a research paper and
want accurate historical information, please visit our web site at

click on the WHO WERE THE TUSKEGEE
AIRMEN OF WWII page or visit the TUSKEGEE AIRMEN BOOK LIST. Most of the
books on this list are available at your local bookstore or over the
internet at e-Bay. Some books are only available through the authors so
phone numbers are provided on the web page.
4. SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION: Our National Scholarship Fund makes
$1,500.00 grants each year to 40 or more deserving disadvantaged
graduating high school seniors. Further information and applications may
be obtained from guidance counselors or from chapters of Tuskegee
Airmen, Inc.

5. LIST OF AIRMEN: We are not authorized to release list of names,
addresses or phone numbers of individuals or groups of Airmen. If you wish to contact a member of this organization, please provide your
name and phone number and we will notify the Airmen of your inquiry.
5a. TJ Johnson Enterprises recently released a database - on a
single CD-ROM - listing all known participants in the "Tuskegee
Experience". Named "An American ExperimentŠ", it
contains over 14,000 names and more than 2,000 digitized images of
documents from the 1941-1949 era. Cost is $60.00 + $2.00 for shipping

6. PARAPHERNALIA: We do not sell artifacts, memorabilia, books or
other Tuskegee Airmen paraphernalia at our National Headquarters. Some
of our chapters have items for sale. Please visit the chapter web sites

7. BECOMING A MEMBER: Membership in Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. is open to
anyone willing to support the objective of motivating, inspiring and stimulating young people to study, sacrifice and attain self-sustaining status with marketable skills in the fields of aviation and
