PROGRAM SUMMARY


T.C.N provides its viewers with programming that is entertaining and informative. Our programming includes:
  1. T.C.N. News, is a positive news show that reports of the week's activities for the City of Tuskegee and Macon County and includes video footage.

  2. Jimmy's Journal is a historical video documentary exposing the myths and legends of Tuskegee and Macon County. Jimmy's Journal shares with his audiences, artifacts, documents, historic landmarks and photographs of the Creek Nation, the Southern Lifestyle/Civil War era, Booker T. Washington and the Infernal Tuskegee Machine.

  3. The Tuskegee Perspective is a panel commentary offering viewers the opportunity to discover why Tuskegee has the ability to sustain itself and attract large corporations. This program presents positive solutions to age-old problems in rebuilding and revitalizing communities economically and sociably.

  4. Between Men and Women is historical lesson on the importance of men and women in building sound economic and social foundations for themselves and their families. Between Men and Women gives viewers a chance to meet our "who's who of America alumni" and discover how they influence the world.

  5. The Art World hosted by Marie Lyles (Tuskegee University faculty) gives the community weekly updates of the happenings in the art and entertainment world. This show includes live interviews with various artists, locally and nationally.

  6. Senior Report covers topics seniors of the community find to be of top priority i.e., health care, utility bills, crime against the elderly, travel with groups on tours, shopping and family outings.

  7. Health Report provides answers to health problems; discusses alternative medicine and looks at how to develop healthy attitudes about the health care profession.

  8. Educational Report covers issues and concerns kindergarten through post-secondary highlighting solutions to educational dilemmas and is hosted educators.

  9. Youth Report a panel discussion of issues that youth find to be of importance to them. The show is hosted by youths from the City of Tuskegee and Macon County.

  10. Weekly Community Calendar provides listings of current and future events within a 250 miles radius.

  11. Fine Dining and Etiquette Infomercials teaches community proper etiquette for formal and informal meetings, occasions, and situations.

  12. Political Updates gives Tuskegee and Macon County the forum needed to express their needs and concerns to political constituents and to inform the public of the issues and policies that effect them.

  13. Community Service programs is our forum for the community residents to air videos they have produced.

  14. Travel/Touring: this is a ride through the countryside connecting Tuskegee with the Underground Railroad, looking at then and now.

  15. Music Video shows (includes Gospel) pointing out the impact music has on the economic and social development of communities - making videos in communities and interviews with artist, locally and nationally.
